Plane Crash Update:  Some of you may have been with us on Saturday April 28th when we witnessed a small plane crash in our operating area.  We had immediately notified the USCG and we stood by to assist in rescue operations.  The pilot was safely taken aboard a local fishing boat.

 

The plane had sank in the Port Canaveral navigation channel and was designated by the USCG as a hazard to navigation.  Yesterday we observe as a salvage barge and crane pulled the plane form 40 ft of water and placed it on the deck of a barge to be transported back to port.
