Hello Everyone,
Been a crazy weather week! We had our first cancellation due to weather in 18 months. I saw the seas building to about 7 feet at the 3 mile weather buoy and decided it was time to call it a day. We pride ourselves in never missing a scheduled trip…..But the safety of our passengers and crew always come first…..There was no danger to the ship but the increased chance of someone taking a fall due to the motion of the ship on the turns was increasing.
We made our one turn on the day trip which went well. But the seas were continuing to build and the 3 mile buoy was at 7 feet so we decided to call it a day and come in.
Today The winds have come from the West and the west wind is “knocking down” the easterly seas. The seas at the 3 mile buoy are now down to 4 feet and I predict they will be down to 3 ft by the time we sail today.
Today will be a good day and a good ride.
Come sail with us!
