Hello Everyone,
Well we are getting our first taste of Fall weather today with some fresh Northeast winds at about 20kts and waves about 4-5 feet. The waves will be from the Northeast so we will keep them on the bow. The ship will have some pitching motion forward and aft…and we will have some rolling motion on the turns.
Please note on the Monday and Tuesday Day cruises only we will depart 30 minutes later at 11:30. This is to accommodate our scheduled USCG quarterly inspection.
We will be back to our normal sailing schedule on Wednesday.
Tuesday the winds will again be East at 20-25kts. The seas will be 4-5 feet and we will have some pitching motion. We will have some moderate rolling motion during the turns.
Tuesday night will be about the same.
On Wednesday the winds will subside to East at 15-20 during the day and by the night cruise will be down to 10-15kts. The seas will be subsiding as well and the ride will greatly improve.
On Thursday the winds will be down to Southeast at 5-10kts and the ride will be very good.
Remember if you are prone to motion sickness you can visit the gift shop ion the terminal before boarding or the Players Club during the cruise. We carry motion sickness pills and also the wrist bands. Both are very effective.
Come sail with Us!
