Yesterday was a great example of the uniqueness of our “operating area”. Although it was a “breezy day” and the local news was calling for “choppy waters” with 4 ft seas, the Victory 1 had a great ride.
The winds were West and Southwest and were blowing for the land. This does not allow the waves enough fetch “nautical term for the distance over the water the waves have time to build up” to build to any significant height.
Best reason to stay tuned to “Captain Tim’s weather blog” !!
Not much to say about both cruises for today, Saturday. Beautiful conditions!
Come sail with us!
