Nautical Lingo:  “Red Right Returning”  Did you ever wonder what those funny looking red and green markers were floating near the coast line???? Why are they there? What do they mean….

 

These International markers that mean the same thing all over the world……Even us seasoned Mariners need a memory aid when we are first studying this business…. “Red Right Returning” means that when you are entering any port anywhere in the world…..You leave the red markers to your right hand when returning to port.  Even the Sail boaters! know this:O…..oops,  did I type that out loud…lol….
