Wednesday Cruises experienced fine weather with light winds and waves 1-2 feet. We cruised North and South along the beach and the ride was very smooth.
Thursday and Friday forecasts are the same with South and Southwest winds 10-15 kts and waves 1-2 feet. The weather will be nice and the ride smooth.
A very important note: Yesterday the local stations and NOAA were predicting some strong winds for Saturday and Saturday night……THAT FORECAST has been downgraded to the typical 15-20 kts forecast. We may have some showers as well. But this forecast will not effect the comfort level of the cruises.
I will keep you informed here on the blog with any changes…..
Operations: Some of you that have not made a cruise with us yet may be curious about the timeline of our cruises. On the morning cruise we typically leave the dock within 5 minutes of the scheduled departure. It takes us about 30 seconds to throw off the lines and depart once the Gangway is retracted. Once we depart the dock it takes about 30 minutes to arrive in international waters and open the Casino for gaming. Not to worry…during this 30 minutes you can Enjoy the live entertainment at Big Norms club V on the 4th deck, Enjoy our delicious buffet on the 1st deck….or enjoy the view and the sunshine at our Dolphin bar and Tiki deck on the 4th deck.
