Weather update

Hello Everyone,

This weekend is going to be a good weekend for sailing on the Victory 1. The winds will be steady from the Northeast all weekend at 10-15 kts. As Hurricane Maria passes up the middle of the Atlantic we will see some long distance swells coming in from the East. These “swells” (from distant sources) are separate from the “seas” listed below. (form local winds) There will be some increased motion during the Saturday and Sunday trips. If you are prone to motion sickness Victory offers motion sickness remedies in both pills form and wrist bands. Inquire at the ticket counter at check in or visit the gift shop once on board.

Friday the winds will be from the Northeast at 10-15kts. The waves will be 3-4feet and the ride will be good. Tonight the winds will be East at 10-15kts and the waves will be about 3-4 feet. The ride will be good.

Saturday the winds will be from the Northeast at about 10-15kts. The waves will be 2-3ft. We will see increased motion form the swells on the ride and turns. Saturday night will be the same.

Sunday the winds will be East at 10-15kts. The waves will be 3-4 feet. We will see increased motion from the swells on the ride and turns. Sunday night more of the same with winds 5-10kts from the North and waves about 3-4ft. There will be motion on the ride and the turns.

Great weekend to come sail with us!
