Hello Everyone,
As you may know by now the Victory 1 is in the middle of her planned required USCG dry dock inspection. Passenger ships are required to be lifted out of the water and inspected twice in every 5 years. The USCG and The American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) will go over the entire vessel to make sure it is completely seaworthy and safe for our crew and passengers. This even involves taking ultrasonic pings of the steel in the bottom to make sure it is still of the required thickness.
The Inspection are going well and we expect to be back in Cape Canaveral on time midweek next week.
Please check our reservation line for the first scheduled cruise next week,
Enjoy the weekend,,,,,
Capt Tim
