Tuesdays cruises were a great ride. We had light winds at about 10 kts form the West and Southwest. This made fro ideal conditions and a great smooth ride.
The rest of the week is forecast for more of the same with the winds backing to the east and a typical 10-15kt sea breeze will prevail for the rest of the week.
Will be a great week to come and check us out on any of our cruises.
Weather Terms: I may refer to the wind backing or veering in this blog. When the wind “Veers” it means in changes in a clockwise direction around the compass rose. When the wind “backs” it changes in a counter clockwise direction on the compass rose. This was very significant to a meteorologist in forecasting the weather and movement of fronts before the days of weather radar and weather satellites.
